Charming cottage with beautiful period features including original wood burner. Perfect for a romantic getaway with wonderful countryside and rolling hill views, located close to Crieff.

Boasting a terrific location in 120 acres of gorgeous grounds, whisk your wag-tailed guest along for a Scottish staycation and enjoy a romantic retreat. Whilst the wood burner promises to keep toes and tails toasty, the gorgeous garden offers somewhere to bask in the sun and sniff out new scents after days exploring the beautiful town of Crieff and the vibrant city of Perth.

With views reaching over to the distant Ochil Hills, step inside this gorgeous stone cottage where sophisticated style and country charm create spaces where you’ll want to spend many a moment. Experiment with delicious flavours and showcase your culinary talents whilst cooking up date night feasts in the kitchen and plating up at the table in the pretty dining room. The ground-floor bathroom is great for washing off muddy paws before ascending to the first floor where the lounge will whisk you into relaxation mode. Transform the light, tranquil space into a snug sanctuary worthy of snoozes and strokes by firing up the wood burner and watching the flames dance in front of you. On sunshine-filled evenings, enjoy BBQ tit bits, al fresco tipples and explore the grounds in search of the Ice House, Witches’ Bridge and the resident tortoise before stepping up from the lounge for a peaceful sleep below sloping ceilings in the king-size bedroom.

If you’re enjoying a romantic getaway with your third wheel, give the dog a bone and escape for a spa date in Crieff (3.5 miles) or visit the town together and tuck into treats at one of the local watering holes. 14 miles away, the Ochil Hills are a great destination for days filled with stick chasing, tail chasing and hikes, with jaw-dropping views reaching far and wide if you choose to brave the spine of the hills joining Sheriffmuir to Glen Devon.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Really spacious and comfortable cottage on a farm estate outside Crieff. A good base to explore Crieff, Perthshire and the southern highlands. The house was very cosy with a log-fire and a well equipped kitchen. Hosts were accommodating and responsive to us whilst we stayed there. We would happily recommend a stay in this cottage!

Highly recommended for a tranquil break. The cottage was comfortable with well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful, quiet location but with easy access to Crieff or further afield around Perthshire. No internet access but we found this a positive rather than negative!

Beautifully situated cottage, lovely walks and ideal location for exploring central Scotland. It was great to see chickens running about each evening when we came back.

For those who need a constant connection to Wi-Fi this lovely cottage does not have it although a mobile phone signal is obtainable so access to the internet is achievable.
