Ideally situated just a couple of miles from Sandringham, this attractive first-floor property offers light and airy accommodation, perfect for a couple or family exploring the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
Nestled between an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a National Nature Reserve, this charming Norfolk holiday home is ideal for humans and canines who just love the great outdoors. After long, satisfying walks along glorious wild beaches, enjoy generous dinners in quaint pubs then settle down to a comfortable night in, curled up on a sumptuous sofa. The house, located in the scenic village of Dersingham, is perfect for a couple wanting to holiday with one dog.
The inside of the property feels airy and light, with plenty of space for you and Rover to stretch out after energetic days. There’s an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner so you can all relax together in the evening. At the front of the house, enjoy morning coffee in the outdoor space, complete with chairs and a table, before setting off for the day. You’ll also have shared use of the owner’s enclosed garden which has a lawn and garden furniture for you and your little fluff bundle to relax in.
The village has a few shops plus a dog-friendly pub where you can go for a pint. Take your energetic pet for a run near the lavender fields at Heacham (4.5 miles), or on a circular walk at Dersingham Bog nature reserve (1.5 miles). Here, your pup will need to be kept on a lead so he doesn’t disturb nesting birds or cattle. For walks by the shore, head to Snettisham (2 miles), or Hunstanton (6.5 miles). Get a big bag of chips and enjoy them on the beach, watching your canine companion dip in and out of the sea and frolic in the waves. Consider booking alongside the neighbouring flat, which sleeps two more people plus one more wet-nosed chum, if you’re holidaying with friends.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
