Providing a great base from which to explore North Devon and Cornwall, this lovely lodge is perfectly situated just a short drive from the coast and amidst stunning lakes and an abundance of wildlife.
Embark on a holiday to remember at this glorious lakeside abode where creature comforts, brilliant views and cabin-style charm will whisk you away. Spend sundowner evenings on the balcony, sizzle up meals on the BBQ or venture into the local village for fabulous fresh dishes and stunning sea views. Pack up some treats and bring your four-legged pals along too as an abundance of stick chasing spots lie close to home.
Climb three steps to enter this lodge and make yourself right at home in the open-plan living space. Sink into the sofa and tune into your favourite TV programme or curl up with a good book as furry friends sprawl out at your feet. When tummies begin to rumble, make your way over to the kitchen area and rustle up something tasty in the electric oven or use the microwave for a quick fix; dinner can be served up at the table or, when it’s warm, dine alfresco on the balcony and raise a toast to waterside living. Having enjoyed a delicious meal, wander through and rest your head in one of three bedrooms where peaceful nights can be had. One room boasts delightful views across the water and all three rooms are pleasantly decorated to create a tranquil environment. Freshen up in the large shower and get ready for the many adventures which await.
Close to home are handfuls of brilliant places to explore. Grab a table at canal-side eatery in Bude, 15 miles away, before planting pawprints in the sand at dog-friendly Sandymouth Beach. Scramble along the South West Coast Path and hunt down waterfalls at Hartland, less than 4 miles from home, before tucking into something tasty and winding your way towards Clovelly to visit the donkeys, or jumping on a rollercoaster at the Milky Way Adventure Park which sits less than a mile from your door.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
