Pleasant loft apartment situated on a farm estate, 5 miles from Fowey. The perfect retreat for a romantic getaway and to enjoy the Cornish countryside.

This delightful loft property is situated on a working farm opposite the owner’s stables and is perfect for a romantic retreat with your four-legged friend. Just a few miles from Fowey, it is perfect for lots of waggy-tailed walks along the stunning Polperro Heritage Coast. With the added luxury of a secluded hot tub, it’s the perfect spot for some rest and relaxation in beautiful Cornwall.

This bijou first floor apartment is beautifully appointed, with a light and airy open-plan living space. Tastefully decorated in warm cream tones with splashes of colour, it is an inviting and relaxing space. The traditionally styled kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up a romantic meal for two, and the dining table situated in the light of the window is the perfect spot to enjoy a special breakfast together after early morning walkies. In the evening, cosy up on the comfy sofa together with your furry friend at your feet. The king-size bedroom is bright and welcoming, and the adjacent bathroom, with its fresh blue and white decor, offers the chance to relax in the spa bath. Outside, take advantage of the bubbling hot tub on the secluded deck, while your canine companion dozes happily in the sunshine.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll around picturesque Fowey (7 miles) or head straight to the South West Coast Path for some breathtakingly beautiful walks along the coast. Ferries from Bodinnick, Polruan and Mevagissey accept canine passengers so you can access both sides of the harbour. There are several dog-friendly beaches near Fowey, including Polridmouth Beach, Par Sands and the spectacular Lantic Bay. The charming ruins of circular Restormel Castle (3 miles) make for a pleasant hour’s walk or pay a visit to the elegant National Trust Lanhydrock House (4 miles), which has extensive gardens and grounds to enjoy as well as a dog-friendly cafe.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Clip Clop loft was an absolutely lovely place to visit for a well needed break. Sarah and Andrew are great hosts, couldn't fault them at all. Will definitely be returning!

My husband and I couldn't recommend this holiday home enough! What wonderfully friendly owners Sarah & Andrew are. They were so kind and hospitable, they made sure we had everything we needed but we're never intrusive. The apartment was spotlessly clean and so cosy. The hot tub which was so magical at night with the lighting was used every night. TRead morehe location was so perfect as a base for us and the pub up the road does beautiful food. This was such an amazing place to stay! It was welcoming and clean on arrival and the owners were so lovely and checked in to make sure we were okay. The location was good, a short walk to the local pub and a short drive into nearby towns. Totally reccomend!

The cottage was fantastic, Sarah & Andrew were the perfect hosts. The cottage is situated in a great position to visit both the coasts of Cornwall. The cottage its self has everything you need very cosy. It is the ideal romantic location with an outside hot tub which we used every night very private. A fabulous stay. Sarah and Andrew were excellent hosts. They were very welcoming, looked after us really well, had thought of all the little touches that make a difference and nothing was too much trouble for them. The loft was very comfortable and the location was peaceful and private. Pub in village does good food too.

A lovely loft apartment perfect for a couple, clean and comfortable. The hosts were great, with lots of helpful tips on places to eat and visit. The jacuzzi was large and easy to use. We particularly enjoyed staying at a working stables and seeing the beautiful horses every day.

The loft is as described. It is a perfect quiet place for a getaway in lovely surroundings. The host was super helpful with suggestions on local walks and places to visit. I will without doubt use the property again. Faultless.

If you are looking for a base to explore cornwall, that gives you all you need and a few bits more, then this place fits the bill. We have had a great 3 days, and have not wanted for anything. Hot tub was a welcome addition after a hard days surfing, and we didnt want for anything. Thank you to Andrew & Sarah for a lovely stay. They are the perfect hosts very welcoming and informative about the local area. We were lucky enough to see some newly born lambs. The cottage is a home from home with a very comfortable bed. We stopped at Otter Valley Dairy at Monkton on the way home, thanks to Andrew for that idea, the ice cream was Read moredelicious. The owners Sarah and Andrew were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We even got to meet the horses. The loft was superbly equipped there was nothing lacking, there have thought of everything. Location was great short walk to the pub and shops nearby. Would highly recommend this property for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Lovely little cottage, which had everything you need inside. The hot tub is a great feature, relaxing after a nice day at the beach. Definitely will be returning.

Wonderful home from home experience. Free to come and go without feeling in the way. The most hospitable couple too. Made our whole holiday fab, so much so that we even stayed on a few more days and then didn't want to leave. Will definitely stay in touch and revisit this little gem of a cottage.

Sarah and Andrew are perfect friendly hosts. Accommodation was like home from home all equipment and facilities you need. Excellent hot tub to relax in. The location is central to North and South areas. Recommended visiting Polkerris with pub on beach perfect setting! Recommended clip clop loft emphatically.

Perfect all round, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to others. We will definitely return. Andrew and Sarah are the perfect hosts they are not intrusive but always available for advise and guidance on local attractions or just a chat. THe hot tub is very nice after a day out.
