  • Superb enclosed garden perfect for four-legged friends
  • A great place for walkers with the coast path leading you to Crackington Haven
Property code: 78326

Idyllic rural setting with walks close to the property. The cottage set on one level has been lovingly fitted and furnished in a contemporary country style and is a perfect family getaway.

This characterful cottage, set high on the hill above Crackington Haven, sleeps four guests and two canine companions. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it goes without saying that the surrounding scenery is exquisite, and you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dog walks in the area. Stride out along the coast path to the cove at Crackington Haven (1 mile) or enjoy a wild and windy jaunt around the ruins of Tintagel Castle (14 miles), dramatically perched high on the cliffs of Cornwall’s north coast.

This gorgeous property boasts a contemporary style, whilst preserving many of the original features, such as the beautiful exposed beams. The cottage, which is set on one level, is warm and inviting, with a cosy lounge and roaring wood burner – a great dozing spot for the hounds. The open-plan layout creates a spacious feel, with ample room for you to all spread out and enjoy the holiday. Outside, you’ll find a large terrace with a picnic table for al fresco dining. The garden is fully enclosed, so it’s a perfect place for the pups to burn off some steam.

The beach at Crackington Haven is a fantastic family beach, with golden sand and rock pools to explore. It’s also popular with bathers. However, in summer months you and the woofers are only allowed to visit before 10am and after 6pm, so perhaps plan a relaxing pre-breakfast stroll or pack up the dinner and dine on the beach as the sun goes down. Just 6.5 miles along the coast is the pretty village of Boscastle. Its rugged beauty has inspired writers and poets for centuries, and it’s not hard to see why. Potter around the picturesque harbour or climb the hills and head out along the dramatic coast path.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely comfortable accomodation, all on one level. Quiet and remote. Access to the coat path is very good, the paths are very steep in these parts. Good quality accomodatoion and very clean, thanks.

A beautiful cottage, well in a fantastic location. Situated right next to the Coastal Path meant many lovely walks, one or two early walks resulted in a welcomed cooked breakfast in Crackington Haven. Would definitely go there again!
