This delightful, newly refurbished cottage is located 3 miles from the fashionable market town of Cowbridge and is a perfect retreat for walkers and families wishing to explore the Vale.

The cottage enjoys a quiet spot in the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan. Sleeping four guests and one canine sidekick, it’s a great base for couples and small families. The surrounding area is teeming with beautiful dog walks, past historic buildings and through ancient woodland. The Glamorgan Heritage Coast (4.5 miles) has a multitude of woof-welcoming beaches to explore with Rover, along with dramatic clifftop walks.

The spacious property has high ceilings and is flooded with natural light. Unique pieces of furniture and luxurious touches help to create a memorable backdrop to your holiday. At the heart of the home is a large lounge/diner, with stylish rattan furniture and a cosy wood burner for the woofer to doze beside. The dining table comfortably seats six guests, should you wish to entertain during your holiday. The chic kitchen, with its statement AGA, has everything you need to cook for the group. Also on the ground floor is an inviting twin bedroom with large glass doors that lead out to the patio, and a family bathroom with an indulgent roll-top bath. A statement oak staircase leads to the mezzanine bedroom, which has its own en-suite WC. The enclosed outside area has a large patio area, along with a vegetable patch where you can pick produce for your supper, and a lawn where the hound is welcome to potter around on a lead.

Spend a lazy afternoon in the trendy town of Cowbridge (3 miles), where you’ll find many independent shops and eateries that welcome four-pawed visitors. If it’s dramatic scenery you’re after, head to Llantwit Major (4.5 miles), where you can join the Wales Coast Path for a wild and windy cliff-top hike. For a traditional day at the seaside, journey to Ogmore-by-Sea (9.5 miles), which has a vast expanse of golden sand and welcomes woofers all year.

A beautifully renovated luxury barn in a very quiet picturesque spot, not too far from the lovely town of Cowbridge with all its lovely shops and restaurants. The super kingsize bed was pure luxury and the barn was cozy and warm when the weather outside was wet and windy. Our dog enjoyed his stay too! Thank you.

Beautiful barn conversion with modern facilities blended with gorgeous aged furniture pieces and very well equipped. My husband loved how warm it was and the dog liked the heated floors! If we could relocate it to where we live

A beautiful barn conversion. The inside was beautiful and the setting Tranquil. Would be a great setting for country walks but not for a wheelchair user like myself. Not ideal for small children or curious dogs because once the patio doors are open and there is nothing fully enclosed.
