Decorated throughout in light tones and with a nautical theme, this traditional cottage features a pretty lounge with a wood burner, wooden beams and exposed stone, as well as comfortable seating and a TV, providing an ideal space for everyone to unwind. Glass-panelled doors lead through to a light-filled sunroom with a window seat and a dining table. The property also has a fully equipped cottage-style kitchen. From the lounge, a winding staircase leads up to a split-level landing with a family shower room and three cosy bedrooms: a single room with pretty views, and two doubles, one with a freestanding claw-foot bath and an alcove concealing a vanity unit and washbasin. Baycliff is a traditional fishing village with some great places to eat and drink. There are some lovely dog-friendly beaches along this stretch of the coastline including those at Aldingham, Bardsea and Newbiggin (all within 2.5 miles). The cottage is close to the thriving town of Ulverston (5 miles) which is home to the dog-friendly Laurel and Hardy Museum. Heading north into the Lake District, Coniston Water and Windermere are within easy reach (both 13 miles).
