Stylish townhouse with pretty courtyard garden in the heart of Buxton spa town. Pub and shops within walking distance. Perfect to explore the very best of the Peak District culture and countryside.

In the heart of the spa town of Buxton and surrounded by the Peak District, this family home is ideally appointed for a week of walkies and fetching sticks. Wander the charming town centre, explore the pretty Pavilion Gardens or depart on a day out to the Peak District’s rolling hills. Comfortably sleeping a family of four and one canine companion, both man and dog are thought of in this enjoyable country stay.

This cosy three-storey townhouse offers plenty of character both inside and out, featuring a stylish enclosed patio to the rear and homely decor indoors. On arrival, stop off in the ground-floor kitchen to dry off muddy paws and wet fur before heading upstairs to warm up in front of the wood burner. Whilst younger guests and your four-legged friend rest in the cosy lounge, mum and dad can cook dinner on the authentic range oven, sitting down to dine at the table or in the charming private patio. After a long day of throwing tennis balls, soothe your aching limbs in the spa bath and settle onto the orthopaedic mattress with built-in massage functions, ready for another invigorating day of fetching sticks and tug-of-war.

Located just off the town’s High Street, find the centre of this quirky town within 500 metres of your doorstep. While away an afternoon in this historical spa town, stopping for a picnic in the town’s park and perusing the Pavilion Gardens (both 0.5 miles). Your pup can picture catching ducks on the River Wye whilst children enjoy games on the grass. Take the lead and head 5 miles down the road to the Peak District National Park, a countryside location boasting endless walking routes. Explore the ancient woodlands and heather-clad moors of the Longshaw Estate (19 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great location in the middle of higher Buxton. You could hear road noise as it is so close to a main road but that didnt cause any issues. Parking can be a problem as it is limited outside the property. House is clean and tidy, everything you need. As its so close to shops, pubs, restaurants and walks didnt spend much time in the house.

A very well situated cottage right in Buxton, you can access lots of great walks from here with no need to use your car. I would highly recommend this. Beautiful place to have a holiday.
