This charming and spacious stone-built cottage is set over three floors with panoramic views of the harbour from the top floor and close to the water.

Wake up to an uninterrupted view of the River Fowey in this beautifully designed harbor cottage. Bring your dog and take her along the South West Coast Path or down to the beach — this sweet fishing village offers traditional Cornwall at its prettiest.

The property itself is a stone cottage, built and designed over three floors. Enter into the ground level to find your living space – a large open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with sofa bed. Light from the river spills into the space, making it an ideal social hub for cooking, eating, chatting and relaxing. On the top floor, a further lounge makes a restful and impressive retreat with a giant feature window looking out on the river. On the lower ground level, the bedrooms are tucked away peacefully — a cosy master double and a single room perfect for a younger guest. Outside the cottage, a romantic entrance patio offers a place to sit in the fresh air and plot the day’s adventures with your eager dog.

Step out of the cottage and you’ll find yourselves in the charming fishing village of Polruan. Explore the quayside and watch the boats go by. Or, take a short stroll just a few metres to the ferry port, which will take you over the river to Fowey, a larger fishing town, with dog-friendly pubs and restaurants to tour. 5 miles from your door is Readymoney Cove, where the medieval part of town curls around the bay. Your pup can lope and chase in this sandy haven before heading onto the South West Coast Path for a sea-blown walk.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £100 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Beautifully equipped cottage with an amazing view. The only downside was the daily walk to the car park, but we were aware of that when we booked. The additional extras were very welcome, especially the cream tea and the dog treats. Very hilly location but again, we were aware of that. Not suitable for the disabled or elderly due to the steep hillsRead more. We would definitely book again. Hide

The cottage has a lovely layout and the most spectacular part is the view from the upper floor, wonderful and the reason we chose the cottage! The weather was great for all but one day which we spent admiring the view and watching the world go by..very, very relaxing, missing that view so much now!

The cottage was very clean and really comfortable and really well equipped. The views from the top floor were beautiful. We had good weather and a wonderful week. We weren't too happy about reversing down the very steep bit of road to offload our gear and the car park was a bit of a hike which took the cream off our stay. Obviously this cannot be aRead morevoided. The two Inns in the village served excellent food. We wouldn't go again simply because we can't park near the property. Hide
