Situated in an enviable position overlooking the River Fowey, this detached cottage is perfect for families looking to explore the beautiful county of Cornwall. Renowned for its spectacular coastline, this is an ideal base for you and your four-legged friends to discover the golden sandy beaches, dramatic coast path and stunning scenery surrounding these shores. Positioned in the heart of the ancient fishing village of Polruan means you are within walking distance to local amenities and tail-wagging coastal walks.

The cottage is unique in its layout, entering on the first floor where the two tranquil bedrooms boast fantastic countryside and river views. Head downstairs to the light and bright living areas where you can relax and socialise with family after a day of adventures with your pack. The sunny conservatory which overlooks the harbour is perfect for unwinding in with a good book as your pups doze by your side. Or dine alfresco in the secluded garden with a glass of wine, watching the sun dip below the river.

Polruan is a beautiful hillside village surrounded by water on three sides, overlooking the River Fowey. Chapel House exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked through the door. Wonderful views from every window, immaculately clean with everything you could need. The terrace and delightfully planted garden were so lovely, we sat for hours watching the view. Would highly recommend this property and we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful house in a blissful location! Had wonderful week, particularly enjoyed sitting in the conservatory in the evening watching all the boats. A wonderful cottage to stay in at any time of year; comfortable well equipped and with amazing (SW facing) views over estuary and Fowey. We come back every year for an annual "re-charge of the batteries".
