This stunning property has been lovingly furnished to provide a comfortable holiday home, is within a short stroll of a range of amenities and provides a perfect base for couples and families.
Beautifully decorated in light, cool tones, this picturesque cottage is situated in a tranquil village and makes a lovely holiday retreat for a family or a couple exploring the idyllic southern coast of Devon. It provides cosy accommodation for two tail-wagging canines and four humans. Dating back to the 19th century, the cottage has been thoughtfully updated and is within easy reach of the thriving coastal town of Torquay (7.5 miles) and the glorious Dartmoor National Park (10 miles).
On entering this surprisingly spacious cottage you will find the pretty lounge/diner, featuring comfortable seating for you and your pup pals as well as a Smart TV, so you can snuggle up with a movie at the end of the day. There’s also a delightful dining area, and the attractively designed kitchen is well-equipped with everything you may need during your stay. Heading upstairs, there are two first-floor bedrooms: a spacious king-size and a cosy twin. Please note that due to the age of the property, there are some low-level beams to watch out for. The large back garden has a lawn which is a great space for children and hounds to bound about on, and you can unwind in the tiered gravelled area with outdoor furniture, accompanied by a glass of wine in the evening.
Torquay and Paignton (6 miles) feature a wealth of dog-friendly pubs and cafes to re-fuel in as you explore this spectacular area. Dogs are welcome at various attractions including Berry Pomeroy Castle (5 miles), Babbacombe Model Village (7 miles) and Agatha Christie’s former home at Greenway (10.5 miles). There are numerous pet-friendly beaches too including Elberry Cove (9 miles), Fairy Cove and St Mary’s Bay (11.5 miles).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
