This Georgian grade II listed property is located in the village location of Hunmanby, North Yorkshire, with plenty of space for every member of your family including the four-legged varieties. The property sleeps 10 over its five bedrooms, with two tail-wagging friends welcome, too. This is the ideal location to enjoy a plethora of walking and cycling trails as well as the nearby beaches of Filey (4 miles) and Scarborough (10 miles). This is a property located in a beautiful area with sea views and wildlife at your fingertips.

The period property is bursting with unique features that give a nod to the history of the home. Original tiled floors, uneven with wear, only add to the ambience of the space. A kitchen and utility room crammed with authentic features give a country house charm which continues throughout - you can just imagine the scent of freshly baked bread wafting through the house from the traditional bread oven in times gone by. The outdoor space in this home is also truly special with an enclosed garden, a patio area with large table and seating for all, and a grassed area with further seating to enjoy the wonderful views. There’s plenty of space to run around and play ball with the dogs, though be careful not to toss it into the wishing well and waste your wish.

Local pubs and shops can be found less than half a mile away, giving you the option to cook for all your brood or have a night off from the washing up. You’ll be hard-pressed to find any fresher fish and chips on the east coast than in Scarborough and Filey, so take a trip up north if you want to sample the local cuisine. Flamborough Headland, with its dramatic chalk cliffs is well worth a visit with the dogs, affording great walks and the chance to spot some rare birds at the renowned RSPB site.

The cottage had lots of character and was very comfortable. The cottage slept 10 and the bedrooms were plenty big enough. We were there at Christmas and the house had been decorated for us. Very well equipped plenty of parking. Hunmanby is a lovely village.

A perfect home for our family pre-Xmas get together. Very easy, comfortable, everything we needed, lots of spaces for being together and having time out. Chimney might need a sweep so we could have enjoyed the log burner, but overall a superb weekend. Great location, despite the snow and ice managed a nice walk to the Gap. We were a family of 9 plus two dogs staying for a week. The property is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and has a lot of character. It is well located for shops and pubs and there are also several food outlets nearby. The weather could have been kinder but despite this we had an enjoyable family holiday.

Castle Farm House is spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. Hunmanby is a nice location. The Co-Op is open 7 days per week from 7 am to 10 pm. It stocks everything that one is likely to need. Other shops include a cafe, hardware store, butcher and fish & chip shop, plus several pubs. The hourly double-decker bus service 12 via Filey to ScarborougRead moreh and to Bridlington via Reighton is very useful for visits without a car to towns and as coastal walking links. House and Garden are beautiful comfortable and homely with lots of space. Bathrooms downstairs could do with an update but this didn't spoil our holiday. Good location for visiting other places. Village has a good selection of shops and pubs close by and local people are so friendly. We would recommend to friends.

Stayed over new year and an excellent location with shops and a couple of pubs a stones throw away. Very quirky house with lots of rooms downstairs so everyone could have their own space when they needed it!
