Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. The road down to Church Houses is not for the faint hearted but well worth it. The cottage is really lovely and cosy with everything you could need. Ideally situated for exploring the Moors and the North York coast.

The cottage is in an idyllic location & we were pleased on instant arrival. The cottage was extremely dark n the kitchen with quite a few flies due to the estates bins been directly outside. There was no back door to the garden so pup could not stretch her legs while we unpacked in safety (only to the front entrance which was access to the car parkRead more) and we could not just open the doors to sit outside with a cuppa or glass of wine. The kitchen windows do not open so no ventilation while cooking! Hide

Cottage really lovely, had everything you would have at home. Fantastic location and great walks! Really friendly locals and pub (Feversham Arms) does good food. Only issue we had is that it was not dog friendly and had no direct access to garden. As a result and with two dogs we were unbale to use the garden as we would have dearly loved too.!! We could have stayed forever in our luxurious, comfortable, tranquil and immaculately clean accommodation. The bed and sofa were the best weve had at any self catering accommodation, the hamper was a real treat, and the location idyllic. Lots of wildlife and good walks from the front door. Careful consideration has been given to Covid. Hand gel in Read moreour cottage, and at the communal bins and gates, and extra cleaning products for our stay. The Coach house was superb & was immaculate on arrival. There's plenty of private parking & external lighting (to find your way back from the pub). The refurbishment has been done to an excellent, very tasteful standard & finish. The bed & furniture were really comfy, appliances & equipment ideal. Wonderful secluded location means the cottage is ideal if you would like a get away from it all break. Being dog friendly means your four legged friend is not left out and with your own garden area it means a safe area for them to run around in.
