Quaint, detached bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by Cornwall’s rich mining heritage and great for walkers and cyclists.

This delightful property sits in a peaceful location a short stroll from St Day and is close to some of the finest routes for walkers and cyclists alike, littered with stunning views. Stock-car fans can time their visit with a trip to the local track, a good afternoon out for those looking for something out of the ordinary. A quiet and attractive village with shops, a pub and a post office, St Day is the perfect base for touring the whole of Cornwall. There are a wealth of popular attractions to suit all tastes including The Eden Project, Flambard’s Theme Park and Newquay’s aquarium. Also, visit some of Cornwall's most popular surfing hot spots on the glorious North Coast with its golden sands, including Portreath, St Agnes and Perranporth.

On arrival, you will find the welcoming entrance hall, leading into the spacious lounge with comfy seating, a TV/DVD and an electric fire to keep toasty in the cooler months. A selection of books and DVDs are also available for some rainy day environment. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and a microwave, offering everything you could need during your stay. The dining area comfortably seats four, and is ideal whether you are enjoying a light snack or a family meal. The three bedrooms are at the opposite end of the house, and consist of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. Nearby is a bathroom with a shower over bath, with an adjacent separate WC.

This property also enjoys a patio garden to enjoy al fresco treats, perfect for a lazy afternoon in the sun. There is also ample off-road parking for three cars on the driveway.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carew Villa. It was well equipped and very comfortable, especially having heating in all the rooms. There was a wonderful "Welcome Basket" on arrival containing coffee, and local foodstuffs.

A very well equipped cottage in a very quite location. Friendly owners living next door , non intrusive but always on hand if you require anything. Bus stop at end of road serving all major and minor tourist spots. All in all a very pleasant holiday location.

Everything went very smoothly. It is well-situated for exploring Cornwall. The hosts left a welcoming pack, including milk and a Cornish tea, which was heart-warming on arrival after along journey. They were always available, though we found that we needed nothing, and discreet in their presence.
