This traditional, spacious and cosy 19th century cottage is perfectly situated overlooking a quaint village green in the heart of picturesque Thornham, near the beautiful northwest coast of Norfolk.
Take two very happy hounds with you to explore the North Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from this substantial house, which sleeps ten guests and comes with an indoor, heated swimming pool. Spend mornings down on Thornham Beach, where your cheerful chums can run free, or pack a picnic and embark upon a stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path with your pets at your heel. Indulge in long, lazy afternoons at home, swimming, basking by the wood burner or playing with your furry friends in the enclosed garden.
Enter the spacious five-bedroom home overlooking the village green to find yourself in a generous hall, with space for drying damp paws and leaving wellies. Gather around the wood burner in the lounge to play games, watch TV and relax with your contented canines. Prepare holiday feasts in your well-equipped kitchen then enjoy lively meals in the dining room or find a quiet moment in the adjoining sunroom. Discover one bedroom and a shower room with WC downstairs. Head upstairs to the family bathroom and four other bedrooms: one of these has an en-suite shower room with WC and another has an en-suite shower room with no WC. Let the pups out into the enclosed garden in the morning and on fine days have breakfast out here too. Wander over to the pool, which is in a separate building and features a pay-as-you-use sauna. There is off-road parking for three cars.
Attempt the 5.5-mile stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path to Old Hunstanton. When you arrive, your furry friends can run free on the beach, with its backdrop of striped cliffs. Return home on the Coasthopper bus, which welcomes four-legged passengers. Visit Holkham Beach, 12 miles away, where many famous films have been shot and which has no dog restrictions.
