Set in Oswestry, this superb apartment has a garden and gated entrance, located next to the park and its facilities it is perfect spot to relax, enjoy culture and explore Shropshire and its borders.

Friends, family and four-pawed pals are all welcome at this spacious apartment which sleeps eight guests across four roomsa nd welcomes two dogs. With a nearby Iron Age hill fort (1 mile) to climb, a park to explore, and several lovely cafes and pubs – as well as a brewery garden – that are dog-friendly, this property at the heart of Oswestry is sure to set tails wagging.

The entire apartment is on the ground floor, which tired feet and small paws will love, and the open-plan living area is particularly charming, filled with natural light due to the vaulted ceilings, sloping roof windows, and patio doors. The lounge/kitchen/diner is the perfect space for gathering the whole party together, whether that’s to watch your favourite programme on SkyTV, prepare a meal in the stylish kitchen, or sit round the dining table to plan another day of adventure. If you and your pup are after some peace, take yourself off to the library/snug, and browse the book collection while they curl contentedly at your feet. The bedrooms are pretty and furnished in soft colours for a relaxing night’s sleep after a hot bath or shower. There is also a utility room for storing coats, boots, and towels for damp paws. When the sun shines, head outside to the enclosed paved garden, where you can tuck into a spot of brunch and let Fido roam freely.

Local attractions for you and your canine companion include the British Ironwork Centre and Shropshire Sculpture Park (3 miles) where your hound can explore 90 acres of grounds and sniff out the amazing artwork, as well as a wander around the picturesque ruins of Whittington Castle (3 miles). Let them take the lead and discover Llanymynech Rocks Nature Reserve (5 miles), or venture across the border into Wales where you’ll find the beautiful Pistyll Rhaeadr Falls (15.5 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The apartment looked lovely on the web site, but was even better than we expected. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was superb. The master bedroom was brilliant with a super king bed, dressing room and en suite shower. The location was so good, being in the centre of the village, next to a pretty park and with shops, restaurants and pubs on Read morethe doorstep. Very good to be able to park up and relax. Hide

Beautiful modern ground floor luxury apartment right in the centre of Oswestry, very stylish with high quality furniture, fittings and decoration throughout. Beds and sofas etc were very comfortable, kitchen very well equipped and high spec. Outside courtyard garden was good for sitting out on sunny evenings. 8 of us stayed here for a weekend birthday break with ages ranging from 24-70 and the property was suitable for everyone's needs. The photo's on the website do not do the apartment justice as you can not see just how spacious it is. Great apartment to stay with plenty of space. TVs in all rooms which is a bonus. There is a well equipped kitchen and the quooker is a great touch. Good showers and comfy beds. The house itself is a beautiful property and very well equipped and comfortable. It is in a central location which is useful for shopping needs and local restaurants and also for walking through the park. A superbly equipped comfortable house right in the centre of Oswestry amid all the shops, pubs, coffee/tea shops. Stunning kitchen with all the gadgets, very comfy beds, great parking area behind secure gate, wonderful for doggie (though needed to be on lead in park next door) and a great common a couple of miles away to run doggies legs off. HouseRead more is ideal for 3 - 4 couples, families, not so much for young and trendy as Oswestry Town is a little on the quiet side, but I liked the quiet. Hide

The house is beautiful, very well equipped. Beds wonderfully comfortable. Lovely town setting with shops cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Close to local bus and train services so able to leave the car parked up. We had a lovely week and hope to revisit.

Wow, what a beautiful apartment - it has just about everything you could want and more. If you want a base to explore the area and also have all the amenities that you need on your doorstep then this is the place to be.
