Luxury barn conversion in idyllic location with fabulous rural views in the Conwy Valley, relax in the hot tub, experience the culture, get active and explore North Wales and Snowdonia National Park.

For families, including four-legged members, seeking a rural retreat with walks straight from the front door, this charming two-bedroom cottage nestled on the edge of the peaceful village of Eglwysbach is not to be sniffed at. The World Heritage town of Conwy (10.5 miles) is within easy reach where you can feast on freshly caught seafood or savour salty fish and chips sat on the seawall. Lace up your hiking boots for leisurely walks along Conwy River or relaxed rambles through the tranquil Conwy Valley.

Set in the owner’s grounds along with another property, where privacy is assured, your beautiful whitewashed barn conversion boasts a host of original features that will get tails wagging. Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen/diner where your hound can enjoy the underfloor heating as you share family meals at the centrally positioned dining table. After a long day exploring Snowdonia, curl up on one of the lounge’s comfortable sofas with your pup at our feet and enjoy the sound of logs crackling in the wood burner. Enjoy quieter moments in the sunroom looking out onto the mountains beyond. Heading upstairs, you will find the two restful bedrooms and an indulgent bathroom. Outside, your canine companion can stretch out on the enclosed decked terrace while you soak in your private hot tub. There is also an enclosed rockface garden where they can stretch their paws.

For a traditional day at the seaside, head to the pretty resort of Llandudno (12.5 miles). With two sandy beaches, choose your spot for games of chase and doggy paddling in the blue sea. Test your hound’s head for heights with a ride on the cable car up the Great Orme and take the lead along the nature trail along the clifftop. Heading inland, Wales’ tallest mountain, Snowdon (26 miles) is well worth a visit offering spectacular scenic walks.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday over the Christmas/New Year break. The location is spectacular, the accommodation is of an excellent standard and well-laid out and the hot tub just adds that extra touch.

We had a wonderful stay at this immaculate and comfortable cottage. The views are beautiful and the sun room is a great place to enjoy them if it's not warm or dry enough to sit on the decked area. The hot tub is a fantastic extra and very welcome after walking. The location is convenient for Snowdonia - Bodnant Gardens is also well worth a visit. The property and views were fantastic. Well equipped and clean. Lovely hot tub, quiet and relaxing. The location of the property is set up a very high narrow, bumpy road so you need a car that can clear a speed bump easily. Would love to go back.
