This lovely semi-detached property is within easy reach of the market town of Narberth with an array of eateries, pubs, and independent store all within walking distance.

Set within Pembrokeshire, one of the most dog-friendly counties in the UK, this Narberth cottage is a real gem. Welcoming one waggy-tailed friend and five people, it is located within a picture-perfect market town, with a large number of boutiques, independent eateries, and attractions within 1 mile. Great for both coastal escapes and country retreats, an 8-mile drive south will lead you to beautiful golden sands at Amroth and a 14-mile drive north will take you to the stunning Preseli Hills. Well, that’s if you can tear yourself away from your cosy retreat, of course!

Immediately inviting, this cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout and enjoys lots of natural light. Leaving boots and wiping grubby paws in the utility room, you can wander into the attractive farmhouse kitchen to tuck into homecooked meals – leaving room for some local Tan Y Castell Welsh cakes. Well-equipped, you’ll find everything you could need here for cooking. For formal meals, there is a formal dining area, and for tempting tired limbs, a dual-entrance lounge awaits with a wood burner-effect electric fire and Smart TV. Separated via a split-level landing upstairs are three bedrooms, a shower room and a cosy snug area for reading.

Perfect for sunny days and letting the dog out for a leg-stretch, a spacious, enclosed garden area with a lawn, patio and seating is situated to the property’s rear. For history buffs, Pembroke Castle is only 16 miles away and welcomes dogs on leads, meanwhile 16 miles south-east there is also a great walk around the outskirts of Laugharne Castle. Following the water’s edge, this trail affords amazing views and leads you past Dylan Thomas’ writing shed. For seaside vibes, you can’t miss a trip to Tenby (11 miles).

We all had a lovely week at the cottage. Really clean, comfortable beds and great location. The garden was brilliant for our two children and dog. Although on the road, when the gates were shut it was completely safe.
