This mid-terraced cottage is perfectly located to explore the stunning Snowdoinia national park with a host of visitor attractions close by.

Enjoy a romantic getaway in this cosy cottage with fabulous views across the town and towards the distant mountains. The property, which welcomes one canine companion, is perfectly placed to escape to the coast, with golden sandy beaches just 7.5 miles away, or to soak up the peace and quiet on a long dog walk through the heart of Snowdonia National Park.

The property, which has an elevated position overlooking the town, has been stylishly furnished to create a cosy atmosphere. Snuggle up on the sofa, with Rover stretched out in front of the feature fireplace, to watch a film or lose yourself in a good book. Walk down the stairs to the kitchen/diner, where you’ll find a table for two perfectly positioned next to the glow of the wood burner-effect electric fire. Outside, there’s a delightful enclosed garden, where the pup can enjoy a doze in the afternoon sun. In the evening, fire up the BBQ, pour yourself a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the mountains.

With 823 square miles of diverse landscape to explore, you won’t be short of walks to do with the dog in Snowdonia. Nearby Bala Lake, 27.5 miles away, is beautiful and you and the pup can follow the 7.5-mile route that takes you high up into the southern hills, with breathtaking views over the water. Harlech Beach, 7.5 miles away, is one of the largest in the area. The 4-mile sandy beach, backed by rugged dunes, has stunning views of the mountains and the majority of it is paw-friendly all year. For something a bit different, hop on one of the heritage steam trains that depart from Porthmadog (3 miles away) and chug through the National Park in style, with your favourite furry friend by your side.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A lovely homely cottage, like a home from home and more also has nice outside area. Sadly the weather was not on our side and there was a fuel shortage so not able to go to the places we had planned really but is a great base. Would recommed the property.

Very lovely cottage in a great location. Sadly we had to cut short our stay but it was great to be somewhere that felt like a real home, full of nice details. The outside space is terrific for lighting the chiminea and watching the stars.

Its near a local station and we went to Harlech (it does eventually go to Birmingham)! Its in walking distance of PortmeIrion - we had lunch at the castle restaurant and went into Portmeirion for free. I think customers need a good level of fitness as there are steep streets and hills all around

lovely clean cottage . great views from the cottage and all home comforts . however the parking posed a problem for us due to being quite a climb up a steep path. However if your young and fit no problems . There were shops in the town and one pub but not really walking distance unless you are an experience walker.
