This grade II listed barn conversion is definitely one for those who love the seaside. With several North Yorkshire seaside resorts nearby, there are a great selection of sandy beaches and harbours offering plenty of fresh air for all your group. The property sleeps four and a pampered pooch, making it ideal for families and couples. Off-road parking is provided for two vehicles so leave your car behind and explore the local area via bike or foot at your own leisure.

The barn is part of a complex of properties, with an individual enclosed patio. Decorated in fresh colours, the property has a contemporary feel, despite keeping many of its original features such as exposed beams and barn doors. The layout is open plan with a large, well-equipped kitchen and dog-friendly living area with Smart TV and internet access so you can plan your trips to the local attractions.

The stunning Filey beach is just 4 miles away and is perfect for those who love to run and splash about. Dogs are welcome too, so be sure to take a ball as well as your bucket and spade. A little further up the road just 10 miles away is Scarborough, which is Filey’s larger, well-known cousin. Kids will be delighted to visit the Sealife Centre where they’ll be able to come face-to-face with sharks, turtles and piranha. Take a trip 30 miles north to historic Whitby and the Captain Cook museum to learn more about the seafarer’s life. The town is not only known for its annual Goth Fest in honour of Dracula whose fictional visit to the place is cemented in literature but also its world renowned fish and chips. Be sure to share a little with your furry friends as you stroll along the harbour.

As is dog friendly being able.to.hose off muddy paws would be beneficial and.no hose at brownridge. The garden furniture is.past.its best/barbecue tool hanging up for use very rusty. Lovely cottage to relax for a week, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Warm when the heating was on. It is 2 miles from the beach, so we used the walk around the golf course for our first dog walk of the day.
