Climb the three steps to the front door and enter this homely property. With its contemporary touch, sit back in the lounge and relax in front of the wood burner, keeping you and your pet warm and snug. With the rooms, all on one level, conjure up fun family feasts in the inviting kitchen/diner or treat yourself to a meal out in the dog-friendly village pub (110 metres), with its roaring fire in winter and plenty of outside tables in summer. Outside, raise a glass in the garden under the evening sun, and when it’s time to rest your head and paws, unwind in one of the two comfortable bedrooms.

The traditional Warwickshire village of Lighthorne sits just off the Fosseway, well served with a village inn and surrounded by breathtaking countryside and picturesque villages including Gaydon (4 miles) and Kineton (5 miles). Dog-friendly Stratford-upon-Avon (14 miles) is a must to discover more about Shakespeare, and to visit Anne Hathaway’s cottage where dogs are welcome outside. We chose this cottage mainly because of its proximity to family we were visiting. The cottage was warm and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The village was delightful, and the local pub excellent.

Really comfortable, spacious bungalow in a lovely little village opposite a really nice pub. Great location for visiting Warwick castle and good walks. The property had everything we needed. (Fantastic kitchen, comfy sitting room and large bedrooms).

The cottage was perfect for a short break away from the city. A lovely location with plenty of things to do around the area with a dog. The local pub has a great atmosphere and fantastic food. We would definetly go back again
