This gorgeous home is nestled between and the North Devon Heritage Coast and Exmoor National Park – giving access to plenty of wonderful walks that both you and your dogs will adore. The property has room for up to eight humans and two canine chums, so is a perfect option for family gatherings or birthday celebrations among friends.

The house is semi-detached and spread out over three floors. Rooms have high ceilings and bay windows, creating a sense of space and grandeur. The huge lounge contains all the ingredients for cosy nights in – comfy sofas, a Smart TV/DVD player with the Sky Movies package and an open fire for the dogs to nod off next to. For the ultimate in relaxation, light some candles and have a soak in the roll-top bath with your pet stretched out on the floor nearby. The back garden has a patio for al fresco dining plus an AstroTurf lawn where dogs can chew on their holiday bones before heading for a kip in the shade.

Ilfracombe is a coastal town with many doggy-friendly pubs to enjoy a quiet drink in. Take a stroll along the harbour or head out to Tunnels Beaches (1 mile) to explore four tunnels that were carved by hand in the 1820s. If your pug or bulldog fancies running along a sandy beach with their ears flapping in the wind, head to Lee Bay (3.5 miles), a secluded spot in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. At Exmoor National Park (11.5 miles) you can go on long hikes through woodland, moorland, and alongside gushing rivers.
