Situated in the tranquil village of Litton Cheney, this delightful stone cottage offers stylish accommodation for a larger family or a group of friends looking for a quiet retreat, just a few miles from the stunning Dorset coast. With plenty of space for eight guests and one tail-wagging pal, this bright and refreshing property boasts beautiful views and makes a terrific base for exploring the area’s spectacular countryside and coastline.
Accessed via a steep path from the parking area, this charming cottage has a restful lounge with a wood burner and plenty of seating, so you can sit back and relax at the end of a wonderful day while Rover dozes at your feet. The welcoming farmhouse-style kitchen/diner is ideal for preparing and sharing a favourite meal. The ground floor also features a study and a bathroom, with a shower room upstairs. Winding stairs lead to the first floor which is lined with original artworks painted by a previous cottage resident. There are four delightful bedrooms – a king-size room, two doubles and a twin. The pretty front garden has lovely views and is perfect for you and your four-legged friend to play a game of ball. A table and chairs are provided so you can enjoy a spot of breakfast, and there’s an additional patio area, complete with BBQ. Accessed via stone steps, the back garden offers panoramic views over the village. Children should be accompanied due to the uneven nature of the space.
