Helpful hosts who gave us a warm and much appreciated welcome. A comfortable lodge, more spacious than many for only two, and well equipped. A lovely setting, within easy access of Tintern Abbey and the Wye valley, and major sites such as Goodrich castle. A very enjoyable week.

Very spacious lounge area with delightful log fire, and well equipped kitchen to cook up a decent meal at the end of a long day walking. Garden was great for our dog, as it gave him enough space on the grass for toileting and was well fenced in - there are open fields at the back of the garden and sheep can be seen quite regularly. We also had the Read morepleasure of seeing wild boar and two boarlets. Hide
