The property is in a good location with an excellent pub with good food next door, the owner is available but not intrusive . Would highly recommend. Not suitable for disabled or people who don't want a steep hill to and from the village.

Just returned from a v.enjoyable week in Bottreaux in Boscastle. It is situated just outside the village up quite a steep hill which my husband & I managed relatively easily (mid 50's) but my parents (mid 70's) found too much. However the property is worth the climb - bathrooms particularly-great showers!! We spent time in Padstow, Newquay & TintagRead moreel all less than an hr away & St Ives & Looe approx 90mins-2hrs. The property is next door to The Napoleon, which is a nice proper pub serving food. Hide

This is not a cottage but a maisonette, the top part of an old house. Reasonably comfortable and good parking available and next door to a pub. It is situated at the top town and although easy to walk down into town it is considerably harder to walk up as it is a very steep hill.

The holiday cottage is situated up a steep driveway and then into the parking area via a sharp left turn. We found the parking space to be generous and easy to get in and out of. On entering the cottage it was stunning, generous size kitchen, well equipped, lounge, diner and 2 lovely ensuite bedrooms, all spotless and with usb points for charges etRead morec. There isn't a garden to the cottage but there is a decking area with table and chairs and parasol cushions etc stored indoors for you to use. Hide
