This beautifully converted barn, set on a working family farm, is perfect for a romantic Cornwall getaway with your greatest love of all…your dog. With one modern bedroom offering space for two guests, this intimate bolthole is ideal for couples looking to treat their hound to some fresh country air. And with seaside strolls on the picturesque beaches of Bude only 6 miles away, this cottage is perfectly placed to explore Devon and the North Cornwall coast.

Inside, contemporary touches give this classic barn a lovely modern feel. Step (or scurry) into the stylish open-plan kitchen and living area and curl up on the cosy sofa while Fido settles down by the rustic wood burner. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day by the coast. Sandy paws, meanwhile, will have no problem on the wooden floors. If mucky pups do need a wash, however, the cottage features a spacious bath in the en-suite bathroom. That leads on from the light and airy bedroom which is perfect for enjoying lazy mornings with a pooch at your feet. Outside, sun-loving mutts will adore the enclosed gravel courtyard. There’s nowhere better to enjoy an ice-cold drink while your pup soaks up some sun. It is kindly requested, however, that while on other parts of the farm, roaming Rovers are kept on a lead.

Bustling with independent shops, cafes and dog-friendly pubs, Bude (6 miles) is a must-see for visitors. Grab your Frisbee and take to the sprawling flats of Sandymouth beach (5.5 miles). Closer to home, the village of Kilkhampton (1 mile) offers local amenities and two dog-friendly inns.

Lovely stay at this little barn - it had everything needed and for me being on a working farm with the sounds and smells of animals helped me to relax. And I made friends with the farm cats who were very sweet.

Very well equipt cottage with an excellent enclosed garden for our dog. Transport is needed due to the location, but places of interest are very easy to get to. It is indeed a working farm, but that added to the charm of the property. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Thankyou for a very nice stay.

The cottage was lovely, lots of provisions, clean and tidy our all you need. The only problem was the bed you could not move or turn for the loud creaking noise. We are not sure if its the bed or the floor. Perhaps a rug might help. I don't know. Sorry!

Ive stayed at this cottage a few times now. The location is great for both Cornwall & Devon days out. The owners are super friendly & helpful. There is everything u could possibly need & some lovely treats on arrival. I particularly love the walled garden. I dont have to worry about my small dog escaping.
