Characterful property, occupying a wing of a traditional Cornish longhouse, within easy reach of beaches and harbour towns.
Ideal for a beach holiday, city break and walking retreat, this stunning property ticks all the boxes of what Cornwall has to offer. Perfectly suited to an anniversary getaway, this romantic cottage hosts two guests. It also welcomes your beloved four-legged pal, as we’re sure the pampered pup won’t take kindly to being left behind. Be sure to pack your doggy towel, as there’s going to be wet fur and sandy paws after some exciting trips to Cornwall’s glorious beaches.
Converted from an old Cornish farmhouse, this cottage retains dark oak beams that contribute to the wonderful character of the place. The countryside charm is continued in the decor, with traditional paintings, floral soft furnishings and antique style furniture found in every room. After a long day of exploring, curl up on the sofa and watch a DVD with your loyal dog lounging at your feet, exhausted from fetching sticks chasing wildlife. In warmer weather you can enjoy the property’s beautiful gardens, shared with a complex of four cottages and an ideal space for al fresco drinks whilst your dog has free reign of this safe, enclosed space.
Take the lead and head to the local city of Truro, located just 3 miles down a tree-lined road. Wander its historic streets before visiting a pup friendly pub, grabbing a bite to eat before embarking on the walk home. No stick should go unfetched in the 300-acres of parkland that surrounds the Tresslick Gardens, a popular tourist attraction just 8 miles down the road. In fact, all of Cornwall’s attractions are within close proximity, including the artistic hub of St Ives (23 miles), bustling dog-friendly Newquay (22.5 miles) and the southerly beauty of the Lizard Peninsula (20 miles).
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
