A beautifully renovated and light-filled townhouse, enjoying views across the bay, set in the Welsh coastal village of Aberdyfi, close to the village’s long sandy beach.

Escape to the coast in this townhouse on Aberdovey’s seafront. Wander out your front door and into the heart of the village, with its colourful houses and fabulous selection of independent shops and eateries. You’ll also be less than 500 metres from the woof-friendly beach. The property sleeps eight guests, making it ideal for family get-togethers, along with one small canine companion. With vast, open-plan rooms, the townhouse is the ideal place for socialising, and boasts a delightful suntrap courtyard for al fresco dining.

Steps lead to the front door of this impressive seaside property, and into the light-filled lounge. This gorgeous space is decorated in neutral tones, with flashes of green drawing the whole area together. Hard floors run throughout, making it easy to deal with sandy pawprints. Spend time together in this sociable space, sharing stories on the plump sofas or watching a film on the Smart TV. The spacious kitchen/diner provides ample room for hosting dinner parties and special occasions, with a large table to seat everyone and ample worktop space. The townhouse has four bedrooms, comprising two doubles, a children’s bunk bedroom, and a king-size bedroom in the eaves (just watch out for the restricted head height in some areas). Outside, sip a morning coffee on the benches to the front of the property, or climb the stairs to the rear to discover an enclosed courtyard where Fido can stretch out in the sunshine.

Beautiful Aberdovey is bursting with character and charm. As well as the breathtaking mountainous scenery, 4-mile dog-friendly beach, and artisan shops, you’ll also discover a wonderful range of cafes and restaurants that will happily welcome you and your four-pawed pal. After lunch, let the pup lead the way along the Wales Coast Path, for stunning views across Cardigan Bay.

We had a wonderful stay at Bodafon! We have been visiting Aberdyfi for over 30 years, and all agreed this has been our favourite property! Guy and Carla made us very welcome. The house is really well located, the terraces were lovely and the welcoming touches were really appreciated to make a relaxing stay. We will be back. Thank you!

This is a clean and very well decorated and equipped, lovely property, The location is perfect overlooking the seafront and is a short 5 minute walk to the stunning beach and main car park where you can park 2 cars for the whole holiday free of charge, due the supplied parking permits by Guy and Carla. There are no large supermarkets in Aberdyfi buRead moret there is a large co-op in the neighbouring town of Tywyn which is only a 10 minute drive away. We had a wonderfull time and would come again. Lovely place and very nice, helpful owners! The house has got a great amount of space and is very well equipped so we could even keep the kids busy baking on a wet and windy day! Lots of storage and an extra fridge freezer in the utility room.

Everything was perfect the owners went the "extra mile"on every aspect of our stay. Everything needed was provided the house was super clean and so comfortable. The Welcome basket was lovely especially the Prosecco a special start to the holiday. Thank you for making our holiday so amazing. Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodation, facilities and location. Easy to reach amenities in the village while being away from the more crowded areas. Superb views from the front terrace, especially in the early morning and the evening. Back patio is a bonus as it is sheltered and large enough for all to enjoy a meal outside.

This was a beautifully presented cottage which for our holiday two families of four shared for the week. We had all the kitchen equipment we needed and the welcome treats were greatly appreciated on arrival. There are steps up to the property and the balcony at the front of the property is a great place to sit and people watch. An amazing holiday home Spotlessly clean well equipped and in an excellent location .The views from the cottage were stunning both day and night especially from the balcony/terrace at the front. The patio at the back was perfect for barbecues and a real suntrap To top it all we had hot sunny weather. A perfect week can't wait to go back

We had a fantastic stay in Bodafon and a wonderful week in Aberdovey. Guy and Carla were very welcoming hosts and the property is in an ideal spot within easy walking distance of the beach and has great views of the estuary from all rooms and the terrace at the front of the property. Bodafon is a wonderful place to stay Tastefully decorated, very well equipped and the location is perfect. We loved the views of the estuary from the bedroom windows (the top bedroom is HUGE!) and to have a courtyard area in the back as well as benches in the front meant we could take drinks outside in the evenings. A lovely large house with beautiful views over the estuary and very close to the village and beach. A very comfortable house well equipped with everything you need for a family stay. We really enjoyed our stay there.
