We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this barn, It was very peaceful due to the secluded location. It was very comfortable and cosy. Great views of the surrounding countryside. It was an excellent base to visit the many attractions in the area.A local pub, around a mile away was accessible for a meal out.

Beautiful barn, very clean, well equipped and comfortable, with fantastic views. The location feels very private which is nice, but it is still close enough to amenities and a great base for visiting Matlock and further afield. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just wow, this barn is amazing. So very clean, it has everything you would need to enjoy your stay here. It is set in the most peaceful location. Lots of walks with the dog. We visited Matlock, Bakewell and Chatsworth. Loved the pigs at the end of the driveway. We will most definitely be coming back and can see it being a regular thing.

We loved this place, ideal for anyone looking for peace, privacy and fabulous views. The barn was really cosy and very comfortable. It was our first holiday with the dog and he loved it. Easy to get to places like Matlock 10 mins away, plus Chatsworth 20 mins. Immaculately clean and great kitchen. Would recommend!

If you want somewhere away from it all, with beautiful views but still very accessible for the surrounding areas, then this is the cottage for you. Close to Matlock and not very far from Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Ashbourne, this was ideally suited for us. The cottage is fabulously situated, with a couple of lovely pigs in a field next to the dRead morerive and a field of lamas further down. It would be particularly lovely in better weather, with an elevated picnic table giving great views. Hide

Blakelow Barn is set in a beautiful rural and secluded spot yet close enough to Matlock for pubs, restaurants and take aways. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy and spotlessly clean. The walks from the door are amazing and our dog loved it
