Located on the cusp of the Cairngorms National Park, this charming single-storey property is an idyllic romantic retreat for a couple wishing to enjoy the sights and scenery of rural Perthshire.

This charming old coach house is the perfect romantic hideaway, set in a secluded spot on the southern tip of the Cairngorms. Surrounded by acres of scenic countryside, there are plenty of waggy-tailed walks to be had from the front door. Close to glorious Glenshee as well as the delightful town of Blairgowrie, it offers a couple and up to two of their four-pawed pals a cosy base from which to go exploring the area.

This quirky, single-storey property has been lovingly updated. With the high, beamed ceiling, and wooden floors in the living area, it is full of charm and character. On warm days, throw open the French doors and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the little dining table, and then in the evening, snuggle up in front of the glowing wood burner with your furry friend at your feet. Then, retreat into the cosy, low-beamed bedroom for a blissful night's sleep in the king-size bed.

The proximity of Glenshee (3 miles) will delight hikers who are looking for more than a leisurely stroll around the estate with their canine companion. Enjoy breathtaking views and watch out for the local wildlife, from red deer to golden eagles. Heading south, take a drive to the pretty town of Blairgowrie and Rattray (14.5 miles) which sits on the banks of the pretty River Ericht. Enjoy a walk along the river with your four-pawed friend before taking an amble around the many interesting shops of this historic town.

Fairly centralised for wherever one wants to go but travelling is a necessity to see all the natural beauty Scotland has on offer. But, if you want to be lazy on a particular day, you can walk for miles around or take a jigsaw out to the summer house. While there, keep an eye out for the red squirrels running along the wall at the bottom of the garRead moreden. Hide

Beautiful peaceful place to stay, but Will have to teather dogs up as can go through large gapped fence onto A road.
