Grand turreted house in a secluded spot amongst mature gardens and rolling hills, 3.5 miles from Dunblane.

From its elevated position in the Sheriffmuir Hills, this stunning house boasts spectacular, unbridled views. Groups of friends/families and their canine companions will love the tranquillity of this property, whilst the surrounding Scottish countryside provides ample opportunity for walkies. It's also home to some of Scotland's diverse wildlife, such as red squirrels, so have your camera to hand and the dog on a lead. Despite its secluded position, you're only 4.5 miles from the pretty town of Dunblane with its shops, eateries and amenities. After a busy day exploring, your four-legged pal can snooze in front of the fire whilst you relax on the comfy seating.

 

This spacious property is grand inside and out, with its accommodation arranged over three floors. Neutral walls and carpets create a sense of light and space throughout and blend effortlessly with the tasteful use of colour and patterns in the soft furnishings, whilst traditional furniture adds a touch of class. With two lounges, two dining areas, a contemporary cottage kitchen and seven bedrooms, you will have plenty of space for everyone to socialise together or spread out for some quiet time. Outside, Fido will love stretching his legs in the enclosed garden.

 

Dunblane has historic buildings to explore such as its cathedral, and this town is situated at the entrance to the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by stunning countryside which is perfect for walking/cycling. Further south is Stirling (6 miles) with its castle and most famous landmark, the Wallace Monument. Venturing further afield, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park lies to the west and has many gorgeous lochs, hills and walking routes to discover, including Munro Ben Vorlich (31 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • Please note the main road leading up to the property is mostly single track and can be prone to ice and snow in the Winter months. 4x4 vehicles may be required for the sloping driveway up to the house. The road also leads over a bridge with a 7.5 tonne weight limit.

Brilliant week at Cauldhame house, location perfect for what we wanted. The property was spotless and very well equipped with everything we needed. Stunning views and immaculate gardens. Would definitely recommend.
