This delightful property is just two miles from Looe, a popular historic port famous for its fishing tradition. Little-changed over the generations, Looe offers a mix of bistros, inns, restaurants, pubs and independent shops, or you could enjoy one of the many boat trips, which range from fishing expeditions to leisurely glass bottomed boat rides. Nearby is the picturesque Polperro, known for its colourful narrow streets. There is excellent access to the coastal paths so you can explore Cornwall’s dramatic landscapes by foot, or you could visit such local attractions as The Monkey Sanctuary, the Adrenalin Quarry, Go Karting, Porfell Wildlife Park, The Eden Project and the many National Trust Properties in the area.

On entering this charming single-floor stone barn conversion you will find the inviting and cosy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The original exposed beams are an eye-catching feature and help create a traditional ambience. The comfy lounge is complete with TV and DVD. The attractive kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. The dining area is ideally positioned between the kitchen and lounge, seating up to four guests. Outside of the property, guests can enjoy relaxing at their own seating area. There is also a large garden, shared with the other properties on the complex, to enjoy, complete with lawn, a pond, seating and glorious views out to sea and over to Looe. Off-road parking is available.

We were welcomed with scones, Cornish clotted cream & jam, tea, and a free bottle of local cider! The cottage is beautifully appointed and spacious, equipped with all you need for a relaxing break (including Netflix on the TV!). Kate looks after her clients and the location is peaceful, rural and quiet (and you only have to walk about 100 yards to Read moreget a view of the sea). Hide
