If you are looking for a romantic, secluded getaway, then look no further. This beautiful cottage has everything and more, going the extra mile with its king-sized bed complete with feather duvet, continental breakfast hamper, and picturesque setting. Thanks to its location in the Brecon Beacons you and your furry friend can enjoy a variety of explorative walks before settling in for the evening.
This charming bolthole boasts the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. Step into the open-plan living area and see why - its light decor and sky light window really makes the space feel fresh and inviting. The compact kitchen area has everything you need, from the continental breakfast hamper to the proper coffee, but you’ll have to head outside to find the hens who are busy making your morning eggs! The outside boasts fantastic landscape views, but mind your step when climbing the bank. For chilly evenings why not light up the fire pit and enjoy a glass of wine or two. By the back door there is space for your welly boots and an outside tap to rinse down muddy paws. Dog washing facilities, including dog towels, are lovingly provided for your furry companion following the day’s adventures.
The property is situated in part of the Brecon Beacons National Park so you and your pooch will find yourself spoilt for choice with walking and cycle routes. The town of Abergavenny itself, just 3.5 miles away, won’t leave you short of things to do either, with a museum and castle to visit and its choice of dog-friendly pubs to enjoy a nice lunch in. Abergavenny market is also a must-visit, but be sure to check what’s on as it alternates between a flea market, antiques fair, artisan market and more.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
