Enjoy a romantic getaway to this stylish lodge with spacious decked balcony with seating area, enjoying spectacular sea loch and mountain views in this Area of Outstanding Natural beauty.

Escape to the southern highlands for a romantic break in the serene wilderness of Garelochhead, based in this exquisite lodge. Don’t forget your beloved hound, your tufty-pawed pal will certainly not want to miss out on the fantastic walks nearby. Adventure by day and relax by night, filling your belly with delicious local produce and washing it all down with the finest whisky, best enjoyed whilst watching the sunset cast its golden glow across Loch Long and Loch Goil.

Set in an elevated position, your cosy abode has spectacular views of the surrounding lochs and mountains, providing the perfect backdrop for peaceful al fresco breakfasts on the decked area. Sip your morning coffee as Fido sniffs for rabbits in the dew, listening to the sounds of wildlife waking up all around you. Inside, the timber walls and traditional Highland-style furniture create a tranquil sanctuary for weary-pawed guests. The quaint kitchen is compact but thoughtfully equipped for preparing simple meals, and there is a stylish shower room for invigorating showers. At bedtime, retreat to the sublime double bed in the sleeping area and fall asleep to the sound of Rover’s snores in his comfortable basket. Outside, you’ll be able to make good use of the BBQ on balmy summer evenings, and there is ample parking.

Lace up your boots and grab your binoculars as you set off to explore, treating your waggy-tailed companion to hours of fun navigating the various trails leading through rolling countryside and ancient forest. Garelochhead is easily reached within 1.5 miles, where you can pick up some essentials and enjoy tea and cake in the cafes. Hop on the railway and venture to Fort William or Glasgow for a scenic journey, or disembark at Rannoch for a bracing walk across the moors.

Absolutely lovely chalet-style lodge with the best view in the world! Tastefully and appropriately furnished with most mod cons eg BT Wi-Fi & TV, smart bathroom, induction hob. Very steep path may put off less mobile people.
