Beautiful place to stay, location is great to be able to visit a variety of places in Wales. If you enjoy walking then this place is perfect as there are many on the doorstep. Enclosed garden is a great addition especially if you have a dog. Darryl is a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble.

Highly recommend. What a lovely place, cottage, family and farm. We took our one year old Sheepadoodle, who had the time of his life rolling around the grass in the huge cottage garden, having a play date with one of the farm dogs, and running off lead in the fields & forests just meters from the cottage, also owned by the same family. Short car joRead moreurney to the town for food shops and petrol which was handy, and super central for loads of walks and countryside greenery. Loved every minute. Hide

Nice place, dog loved it. Garden was secure enough that our dog stayed in it ( You do have to go round side to get in) but be warned the farm dog jumps the fence and joins you. Ours thought this was great and we were more than happy to have them play but might not suit everyone. The bed was very soft, some people will love this, us not so much but Read morejust our personal preference. Would happily go back again, lots of nice walks within a fairly short drive. Hide

Great cottage in a fantastic location. Easy to access from the main road, considering the farm location. The cottage was warm, welcoming and well equipped and the secluded and secure rear garden was perfect for our dog. Even though it's on a working farm, the property was lovely and quiet and when inside the cottage you couldn't hear any farm noiseRead more. I would suggest taking a torch with you as if you did want to have a night walk, it's very dark :) We wouldn't hesitate to return to this cottage. Hide

A lovely warm and delightful little cottage. It was a perfect location for walking in the Brecon Beacons. It was also great to be able to take our dog and there was a dog friendly garden so he couldnt escape. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet, quirky & comfortable. Follow owner's directions, OS map is misleading. Best access to hill is across the stream, straight through the forest to the far end gate.
