Explore the myriad of twisting lanes, independent shops, eateries, museums, galleries and dog-friendly pubs. Kids will love The Adrenaline Jungle with its karting, quad-biking and archery. Visit Wollaton Hall’s 500 acres of spectacular gardens and the Theatre Royal. Cresswell Crags (27 miles) is a tremendous ancient landscape of caves and tunnels and the wide Welbeck Estate in Sherwood Forest (30 miles) has an excellent farm shop and gallery.
