Sitting on the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoy all this home has to offer as you escape the everyday. Welcoming your furry-eared, waggy-tailed pals too, no one needs to be left behind as you head out on stick-chasing adventures. Brilliant spaces both inside and out means, come rain or shine, you can either bathe in sunshine in the garden or stay toasty warm thanks to the wood burner.

Step inside to the heart of the home where fresh coastal tones create a tranquil environment in which to chill out. The open-plan lounge/diner means you can keep an eye on your pesky four-legged friends before they sprawl out by the wood burner while you curl up with a book. The snug yet bright kitchen invites you to cook up a storm or rustle up some tasty titbits. Enjoy a cup of tea at the breakfast table or plate up at the dining table where light floods in from the floor-to-ceiling patio doors. Should the days be warm, dine alfresco and raise a glass of something cold to time spent with special people. The garden is a great place for four-legged guests to enjoy a game of fetch or find a patch of shade for some peace and quiet. When heads get heavy, climb the stairs to the first floor and rest your eyes for a good night’s sleep in one of the two bedrooms – just be careful of the sloping ceilings on this floor. Outside, there is also off-road parking for one car.

Located just 1 mile from the glorious Beadnell Beach, take a stroll down to the water where you can paddle or challenge yourself to some water sports. The historic Bamburgh Castle lies 5.5 miles from your door and is well worth a visit, with dogs welcome in the grounds.

Ideal location, had everything you need, plenty of pans, cutlery, slow cooker etc. Spotlessly clean, comfortable furniture and beds with good quality pillows and bedding, good tv if needed. We didnt light the fire as it was very warm and with it being February we didnt use the outside area although it was ready if needed.

Had a fantastic time staying at 1 Smugglers Cove. The cottage was perfect. Beautifully furnished, a great location and a lovely little garden for two small dogs. Set in the middle of the village you are close to the pub, cafes, the village shop and the beaches. Parking was a bit tight but not a deal breaker. We will definitely be back.
