Splash along the River Usk (1 mile) or try the circular walk at the Usk Reservoir (13 miles). Explore the remains of the Iron Age fort at Pen-y-Crug (6.5 miles) and Llangorse Lake (8 miles) has lovely dog-friendly trails and various boats, knacks and pedalos. Take the Brecon Mountain Railway (16 miles) from Pant to Torpantau, which is another great dog-friendly attraction nearby. In bustling Brecon (2.5) you’ll find independent shops, restaurants, museums and a choice of dog-friendly pubs.
