A coastal cabin set beneath the much photographed Golden Cap. With easy access to the dog-friendly beach, village centre and the South West Coast Path, it’s the ideal base for a relaxing break.
The stylish cabin, with its enviable coastal location, is the ideal setting for a relaxed holiday by the sea with family or friends. The property sleeps four guests and two canine chums, who will absolutely love the fact it’s just a stone's throw to the fabulous dog-friendly Eype Beach. Wake up and head out for a blast of sea air and admire the magnificent views along the Jurassic Coast, before returning for a lazy al fresco breakfast.
This single-storey property has an open-plan configuration, making it a fantastic space for socialising and creating ample dozing spots for the four-legged ones. The cabin is light and bright; curl up with a good book on one of the comfy sofas, admire the sea glimpses through the French doors, or enjoy an evening meal together whilst planning the next day’s adventures. However, in a setting as beautiful as this, you’ll want to be outside at every opportunity. Chill out on the sun lounger, whilst the hounds potter around in the enclosed decked area, or perhaps light the BBQ and enjoy an evening full of chat and laughter as the sun sets over the bay.
From Eype Beach, walk along the dramatic South West Coast Path to West Bay. The route takes you along the high white and golden cliffs and through the meadows bordering the river. When you arrive, why not treat yourself to an ice cream whilst pottering around the picture-perfect harbour? There are some great hound-friendly attractions within easy reach. Forde Abbey makes a lovely afternoon outing; the tail-waggers can join you for a stroll around the beautiful formal gardens, where you can admire the highest-powered fountain in England. Lyme Regis (10 miles) is also well worth a visit during your stay. The historic seaside resort is packed with dog-friendly eateries and Monmouth Beach is a real favourite for four-pawed visitors.
