A gorgeous barn conversion property awash with original features including beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls, this spacious property has enough room for up to ten guests and two dogs. The 175-acre farm within which the property is set is the perfect rural idyll for those who enjoy fresh air, countryside walks, and the simple pleasures of rural life.

A comfortable and cosy country feel makes this barn-conversion property an excellent choice if you are wanting to enjoy a relaxed holiday with friends or family, with the warming wood burner bound to be popular with guests of both the two-legged and four-legged variety. A large dining room is great for enjoying special meals together, or perhaps choose to eat outside in the enclosed garden, where there are a table and chairs, a Wendy house for younger guests, and plenty of space for the pups. The four bedrooms (one king-size, one double, one bunk bedroom and one twin (which can be made up as a king-size by request) are all full of character and are tranquil retreat-like spaces.

From leisurely country walks in the picturesque Taw Valley to seaside strolls on the nearby Devon coast, this property is in the perfect location if you look forward to getting out and exploring with your canine chum whilst on holiday. For longer walks head for Exmoor National Park which offers some stunning coastal walks in the northern section of the park. The town of Barnstaple is situated 13 miles north of the property and is a great place to stock up on supplies, including those all-important doggy treats!

We had a wonderful stay at this very spacious and well equipped barn conversion. We really enjoyed our familv get together sat around the large farm table. Our grandchildren loved the ponies and nearby park and football pitch. Many places to visit only a short drive away. The Big Seep being one example. We had a lovely stay at Mr & Mrs Smale barn conversion on the farm. The kids loved seeing the ponies & sheep. Nothing was too much bother and we felt welcomed.

Beautiful well appointed barn. Had absolutely everything we needed. Very comfortable beds, slept very well. All mod cons, dishwasher, washing machine (a dryer might be nice, had to put on heating to dry clothes) Gorgeous location.

This is a large and well equipped cottage. Ample parking and a good enclosed garden area suitable for dogs. All the bedrooms were comfortable and nicely furnished. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Lovely barn conversion, extremely friendly and helpful owners. Good working farm with lots of sheep, friendly dogs, 4 ponies and 5 noisy peacocks! There's a great honesty box at the gateway with lovely,freshly laid eggs most days.Set in an extremely peaceful village with a minimum 15 mins drive from anywhere, there is a village shop which is quite Read moreexpensive and has limited produce. Lovely place, immaculate, spacious, well equipped, comfy beds, warm with never ending hot water. Good location and village shop very useful. Marilyn and Peter where welcoming and helpful.
