This period property benefits from an elevated position, providing striking views over the beautiful Gare Loch. It’s a Victorian home sleeping eight guests and three furry friends and is just on the fringe of the spectacular Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Throughout the area, you’ll find an almost endless supply of walking trails past snow-capped mountains, through stunning glens and along the shores of magical lochs.

This large property is full of character, with elegant original features, high ceilings and fabulous accessories. The vast lounge is the ideal spot to unwind after an action-packed day. A huge bay window floods the room with natural light and frames the views out over the water. Upstairs, four first floor bedrooms await: two king-size and two doubles. Finally, outside you’ll discover a mature enclosed garden where the pups can sniff, snooze and play to their hearts’ content whilst you enjoy a wee dram on the patio and soak up the breathtaking scenery.

The 65-mile route takes you through jaw-dropping scenery and into the heart of coastal communities, with nine stop-off points along the way. Bundle your dogs into the car and go exploring! Information boards at each of the stop-offs are packed with local knowledge, including fabulous dog walks in the surrounding area. Alternatively, head out on foot and paw directly from the property. We booked as 3 couples for a couple of birthdays and made an event of it by getting dressed up - black tie. Had lots of glasses for all of the different drinks/requirements. Comfortable, big rooms with great mattresses. Good shower upstairs - lots of hot water - the bath for 2 is amazing and worth trying. Loved that there was a dining room that we Read morecould sit in away from the kitchen. Not much room to move in the kitchen. Good utility room. We had a great time there making memories. Hide
