Set within the beautiful Colne Valley, this cosy cottage is perfect for couples and their beloved canine companion, sleeping two people in one room. With waymarked paths that ramble through the surrounding countryside, Fido will be taking the lead and following his nose through the fields and along the hedgerows in no time. End your long country walk with a well-deserved pint in the local dog-friendly pub which is within walking distance of the property.

The comfortable accommodation has so much on offer that you’ll hardly need to leave, apart from to walk your four-legged friend, of course. The lounge is cosy with a leather sofa and armchairs, arranged perfectly around the Smart TV and wood burner which, on cooler evenings, you can fire up and snuggle down together. No doubt your four-legged family member will sleepily find their way to the warmth of the wood burner to dream about a day running free across the Cotswolds countryside. The quaint cottage features details that remind you of its rural setting. As you gently wake from a peaceful slumber, you can throw open the French doors from the bedroom on to the enclosed courtyard to take in the fresh morning air, allowing Fido to stretch his legs.

Further afield, discover the idyllic town of Bourton-on-the-Water (11 miles), which offers a range of dog-friendly attractions including The Motor Museum, Bird Land and the Dragonfly Maze. Stow-on-the-Wold is a great place to grab lunch in one of the dog-friendly cafes or restaurants. Head to Cheltenham (8 miles) for shopping and a day at the races.

We loved our 4 weeks at The Granary whilst waiting for a house purchase to complete. Very comfy and cosy with a log burner for the colder evenings. Set in a very quiet and friendly village ideal for those who want peace and quiet. Friendly and helpful owners. Would recommend.

The property was well looked after, and offers a secluded place to stay. Only neighbours on site were owners of the property and adjoining accomodation, apart from friendly chickens. Because of location there was hardly any noise, so very peaceful. Nice touch was the log burner, made the cottage nice and cosy when lit. The cottage is lovely and clean and in a beautiful quiet location. It was a great area for walking the dog. The chickens roaming free in the yard were nice to see. It is also a great place to stay to visit all the popular sites in the Cotswolds without having to travel for miles and miles.

The Granary is a sweet self catering apartment in a wonderful location to explore the Cotswolds. Most must see locations are no more than a 20min drive away. My partner, dog and I had a great Easter break. Thank you!
