This contemporary single storey annexe offers spacious and secluded accommodation in a peaceful environment away from the crowds, yet within easy reach of many local attractions and amenities.
This lovely single-level annexe, for two humans and two dogs, is close to the New Forest and the cathedral city of Salisbury. This is a wonderful open part of the UK, as Salisbury Plains is home to some of the country’s most ancient sites. This makes the property a superb base if you are looking for a cosy bolthole with lots of dog-friendly places to explore.
Arrive at this quaint bungalow along a short pathway, then enter the annexe through a private doorway. The enchanting living room and dining area is a comfortable space to unwind in at the end of a day of touring around the city and the outlying Salisbury Plain. Catch up on your favourite films and TV shows as you rest and recuperate. If you love cooking, you will discover that the spacious kitchen contains everything you need to create some delicious meals. Nearby is the bedroom, which is a perfect sanctuary to retire to and to enjoy the night-time quiet. Outside the property is a patio, a lawn and access to a patio where your dog can play and exercise. Use the BBQ to have an outdoor feast for two and watch the sun disappear behind the trees.
Situated between Salisbury Plain and the New Forest in a village called West Grimstead, this dog-friendly holiday cottage is in a great position for visitors that love open countryside and nature. With the city of Salisbury on the doorstep too, there are plenty of places to shop and visit. Top of the pops for dog-owners is Old Sarum, which is the former site of the city’s original cathedral – there’s some wonderful views and pathways up there to try out. Also head to Stonehenge, Durrington Walls and Woodhenge for more ancient sites and places for your pooch to play. The New Forest is 5 miles to the south and is a lovely natural place with walks and cycle trails galore.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
