One of the bedrooms has the added treat of an en-suite shower room, and if you need additional sleeping spots the downstairs snug room has a sofa bed. Outside, the sunny patio is a haven for al fresco drinks, and there are steps leading down to an enclosed lawn bordering a stream. No need to worry about messy paws, there’s a utility room in the property that can be accessed through a separate door.
Clip-on Rover’s lead and let him sniff for rabbits as you hike up to Dunkery Beacon 5 miles away, or enjoy a waterside stroll around the Tarr Steps, which are a 5-mile drive in the opposite direction. Venturing further afield by 6 miles will bring you to charming Withypool, a village known for its pretty tearoom and unspoilt surroundings, but if you are in the mood for some retail therapy, the historic town of Dunster is just 8 miles away.
