This beautiful property, situated in rural Shropshire yet just 10 miles from thriving market town Ludlow, is perfect for your entire family – including the waggy-tailed members! Sleeping up to 12 in total across four stylish bedrooms and with plenty of space for up to two dogs, it won’t be long before you’re up and about exploring the stunning grounds and looking out across the rolling countryside. Take the pups for a walk along one of the many routes accessible from the house, before coming home for a relaxed afternoon around the superb indoor pool and games room.

The barn, which is situated on pretty landscaped grounds, is spacious and comfortable with all contemporary comforts. The open-plan kitchen is fresh and bright with a trendy island in the middle, while the chandelier and vaulted ceiling takes centre-stage in the dining area. Curl up in front of the wood burner in the huge lounge, the hounds by your feet, and sink into the sofas for a long evening in front of the TV. The bedrooms, laid out on both floors, add a luxurious feel to your stay; snooze among exposed beams and unique colour schemes before waking up refreshed and ready to enjoy your morning coffee on the Juliet balcony from one of the bedrooms.

When you’ve had enough of exploring the home’s grounds, take a stroll around the National Trust’s Croft Castle (17 miles) before stopping for a spot of lunch in the tearoom. Kids will love the Severn Valley Railway, which can be accessed from Bewdley (12 miles) – and well-behaved four-legged travellers are welcome! Black and White Trail villages Leominster (18.5 miles) and Eardisland (23 miles) are well worth a visit to take in the attractive timbered houses, some dating back to the medieval era.

We would recommend Badger Vale Barn without hesitation. The property was equipped to the highest standard throughout. The indoor pool was clean and clear, providing the perfect entertainment on rainy days. The owner was also extremely approachable and super helpful.

An excellent location for a relaxing three generation family holiday. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. We stayed during mid January and would like to experience a Summer visit to make full use of the outdoors. As four adults with a 10 month old we didnt make full use of the swimming pool unfortunately but that was our choice due to the Read moretime of year. Home from home! Hide

Beautiful barn in a stunning location, nearby Wyre Forest great for walking and Ludlow Castle is a short drive away. The pool was lovely and warm, great for entertainment on a rainy day. The kitchen had everything needed and the lounge was cosy and comfortable with ample seating for everyone

We loved our holiday and the barn was the perfect place for the family to meet up and celebrate my nephew's 50th birthday. It was the right size and we loved the BBQ, the swimming pool and the games room. The layout was just right for us all to enjoy one another's company while we prepared meals and ate together.

The barn was a great size for 6 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs. Secure garden for the dogs. Good size had for family fun and games. Pool is a good size, but pool could do with a good clean. The property lacked on the luxury side though.

Beautiful barn in a beautiful setting. We had such a lovely holiday with all the family and the dogs (who loved the freedom). Plenty of space for all the family. The barn is decorated beautifully. A great place for a multigenerational family holiday. The pool is the central attraction for kids and they loved it. The location is rural but there are plenty of good activities within a short drive.

Cleanliness was below par few issues with the kitchen floor and frontroom not hoovered or mopped. The pool house was brilliant but it doesnt tell you until youve booked that you cant use the doors opened up as it looks in the pictures. The drive to the place says a few potholes? More like dirt track and a million bumps with large holes in the dirt.Read more Beds were really comfortable and there were loads of towels. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Was perfect for a quite getaway with the whole family ages 65 to 4, everyone had a great time, in the pool and games room. The barn was outstanding and the scenery magical, as we had snow.

Fantastic barn conversion with all amenities to keep everyone occupied. Great location as well with country walks on the doorstep and beautiful Ludlow just down the road. Highly recommend for a great hoilday retreat or weekend break.

A beautifully presented and superbly equipped barn conversion. We were 7 adults and 4 young children and it was great. The pool was at a perfect temperature and we couldnt get the children out! Whilst the location is great with lots of things to do in the area the access is via narrow country lanes in variable condition - cars with reasonable grounRead mored clearance recommended. As soon as you drive onto the site its a WOW. This WOW confirmed as you enter the dining, kitchen area and again as you slide open the huge traditional barn door to the lounge. We had a super week, in such a beautiful location, nothing but fields and rolling countryside around. The large garden was totally secure for our dogs, they didn't want to come home! The pool house and games room was a hit with all the family. We didn't venture out much as we were so comfortable, we got groceries delivered, and a pizza delivery oneRead more evening. Badger Vale Barn is are really great place with plenty of room to play outside for children. One word of caution, the swimming pool is so good if you have children you wont get them out of it. The Barn is well equipped and comfortable and very quiet. Just right for a very relaxed holiday. Lovely property and location with large enclosed field Pool was warm and welcoming. Last couple of hundred yards on rough track but Sainsburys still managed to deliver. We were 7 adults a baby and two dogs - plenty of space for us.
