With secure shared storage for bikes and boats and a handy wet room for cleaning off all that Welsh mud, you and your pups can explore to your hearts content whatever the weather!

Be instantly welcomed to a unique barn conversion, a lovely place to call home. Snuggle down in the lounge, where comfortable seating and a small selection of books creates an inviting place to relax, while your four-legged friend can curl up at your feet for a snooze. Make a romantic meal for two and dine alfresco in the evening sun. After a rejuvenating nights sleep, start the day with a wander outside and soak up the sounds of the countryside, enjoying a coffee on the furnished patio watching your pup potter in the morning sun.

Surrounded by livestock and wildlife in the heart of Powys, keen mountaineers will enjoy exploring the local area on foot, or jump in the car to discover the Brecon Beacons National Park (20.5 miles) a little further afield. Take a stroll around Builth Wells (11.5 miles) to discover independent stores, delicious local produce and Welsh heritage sites. After long days of activity, you’ll no doubt look forward to a relaxing evening, visiting a cosy local pub (6.5 miles) where your pup is welcome too.

I stayed with my two dogs for a week for some much needed peace and quiet and boy was it quiet! The communal washing room for clothes was great, plenty of parking space too. I was lucky enough to meet the owner Mary for a chat one day and then on my last day she was there with her son who had a great time with my Lab puppy. Our first time in Powys and we werent disappointed. A wonderful holiday home surrounded by stunning scenery and within easy reach of the Elan Valley reservoirs, which were amazing, and the Epynt Way. Mary left us a welcome tray, including a delicious sponge cake, treats for the two dogs and flowers for the table. The bed was comfortable pillows gooRead mored too. A fantastic getaway from it all on a Welsh hill farm. You literally are in the middle of nowhere. Fantastic extensive dog walks from the cottage where dogs can be off lead in the forestry. Very friendly and helpful owner.

A peacefull and quiet holiday cottage. Great there is no receive for your mobile and and wifi. You can detox there from your wifi tox.

The cottage is situated in an isolated location which is perfect for a get away from it all holiday. There are lovely walks close to the cottage and Mid Wales has some stunning scenery which includes the Elan Valley and Llyn Brianne. If you love nature, it is a perfect location. This is our second holiday at the cottage this year, the first being iRead moren early summer. It is nice to visit in summer and the autumn. Hide

Mary is a wonderful host making us feel so welcome on our arrival, the cottage is supplied with everything you could conceivably need during your stay which contributed to a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

Brilliant location, so quiet! Sat nav takes you directly there, but the last 2 miles are narrow country lanes so have faith! It is the right way! Everything you would need is supplied, all you need is literally clothes and food. A couple of nice local walks you can find on Google maps when you get a signal, other than that there is a comprehensive Read morewelcome pack listing everything that's nearby. Bach cottage was a superb holiday let and we cant fault it. It was well fitted out with everything you needed in the kitchen. It was such a comfortable place to stay in lovely surroundings, especially with all of the spring birds and even the cuckoo. There are lovely walks through the fields, lanes and forest.
