An idyllic coast and countryside setting with walks from your doorstep, this property has been lovingly fitted and furnished in a modern contemporary style making it a perfect romantic bolthole.
This stunning property, situated in the lovely fishing port of Newlyn just half a mile from Tolcarne Beach, is the perfect romantic coastal retreat for two – and the dogs, of course! Sleeping you both in a beautiful super-king size bedroom and up to two pups welcome, it won’t be long before you’re off down the South West Coast Path (0.5 miles) and exploring some of the wonderful seaside towns and villages around you. Stroll along to Penzance to Battery Rocks (1.5 miles) or head down to the rugged Lamorna Cove (4.5 via coast path, 4 miles by car) where the pebbled beach is perfect for paddling.
The property, which is nestled in a complex of properties with a private entrance from the terrace, is set out in a bright and airy open-plan style. Enjoy lazy breakfasts at the table looking out at beautiful countryside views or get straight out in the enclosed garden to let the pups run around. The shared garden is an idyllic spot to spend evenings in with a wooden hot tub and fire pit to use, but if you prefer to stay in and get cosy snuggle up in front of the wood burner in the bedroom among contemporary decor and impressive vaulted ceilings.
Wander over to Newlyn Art Gallery (0.5 miles) and the Exchange (2 miles), which both welcome your pups, and marvel at the contemporary art or take one of their workshops. Head off to Geevor Tin Mine (8 miles), used in the TV series Poldark, where your pups can join you everywhere except in the underground mine. Trengwainton Garden (3 miles), which means ‘farm of the spring’, is an idyllic place to stroll around, with walled gardens and exotic plants to explore; catch it open between February and October.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
