Making a wonderful getaway for couples and families, the property has been carefully styled and decorated, with a distinct nautical touch. Retaining period features including exposed beams and a warming wood burner, this welcoming property makes an ideal retreat for visitors exploring this beautiful part of Cornwall.

There are two relaxing en-suite double bedrooms on the ground floor (please note the second bedroom is accessed via four steps). Going up to the first floor, you will find the light-filled and vaulted open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has views across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. A fabulously cosy living area, the lounge has comfortable sofas, a roaring wood burner and Smart TV, while the fully equipped kitchen is perfect for rustling up your favourite meals. Stepping outside, the private terrace has a delightful outdoor seating area with a BBQ, making it an ideal spot for al fresco dining. The garage houses the freezer and washing machine, and has space for a car, wetsuits, paddleboards and bodyboards.

St Ives is a perfect base for your four-legged friends as they discover the spectacular West Cornwall countryside and its unforgettable coastline. There are numerous beautiful beaches; your canine companions are welcome throughout the year on the Lambeth Walk, Clodgy Point and Bamaluz beaches, and they can also join you on a boat trip to Seal Island. St Ives has numerous independent shops, famous art galleries, relaxing cafes and a bustling harbour. Dogs are welcome at many attractions including Geevor Tin Mine, Newlyn Art Gallery, Trengwainton Garden and the remains of Chysauster Ancient Village (all within 11 miles).

Lovely place, fantastic location, garage for car and owner incredibly helpful when I was hopelessly lost getting there . Maybe a stairlift for our 14 year old dog but thats a big ask.

We spent half term there as a family of four. Very central location, with a garage, close to all the amenaties. It was clean and comfortable. Originally from Cornwall it was also a good place to get out and about to catch up with family and friends. Would highly recommend.

Great accommodation in central location with superb lounge/kitchen. Very well equipped with two bathrooms and a large garage. Only a short walk to the town centre, Porthminster beach, bus and rail stations.

Great location both both for the town and touring. Guy was a very responsive and helpful host and the welcome goodies were most welcome! We chose Anchor Loft as it has secure garage parking (any parking in St Ives is a must!) and although nerves of steel are required to negotiate the slipway and garage initially, with a large car, we did manage to Read moreget the Range Rover safely in and by the end of the week it was much easier. Anchor Loft is stunning, a delight to stay in, amazing location and the garage is an amazing bonus, we actually didn't use the car all week, but we could unpack and packbup the night before a early departure the next day. Owner was fabulous too and the little welcome pack was a lovely treat on arrival.

A great, central position with its own parking in garage. Would be tight for a large car. Handy for beaches/eateries /pubs/shops. Bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with living space above. Well stocked with utensils/crockery etc. small veranda with sea glimpses. Building works in adjoining building, but wouldnt disturb if out for day.

Anchor Loft is cool, cosy and has a brilliant view over St.Ives. Guy was very helpful and walked an extra mile for us. The fireplace and garage was a bonus. We hope to come back next year.

Wonderful place to spend a holiday in St Ives. The open plan living room and kitchen is fantastic; very homely and cosy and airy to be away from all the hustle and bustle. We really enjoyed our stay here

we had a wonderful holiday experience at the anchor loft. perfect location within easy reach of all st ives has to offer. we had some wonderful dog walks our cocker spaniel had the best holiday too, we were sad to leave and cannot wait to return. our holiday was one of the best we have had.

Anchor Loft is quirky and characterful and is ideally placed near the centre of St Ives. It may not suit those with mobility issues due to its location up an incline and the wooden stairs inside. It benefits from having a small secure garage with extra storage area. The loft itself has all you need for your holiday and is wonderfully quirky. The weRead morelcome pack was a nice touch. What a beautiful apartment. In a perfect location being only a 2mins walk to the harbour and 1 min walk to the bus station and train station it was in the perfect location. Anchor loft was so clean with all the things you would need it was like a home from home.
