Sandwood Bay (6 miles) is arguably one of Scotland’s finest beaches. Reached along a 4-mile traffic-free track, the dog-friendly beach is incredibly quiet, even in the height of summer. With its pinkish sand, flanked by rocky cliffs, the scenery is truly spectacular and is the perfect place to switch off from the stresses of everyday life. Smoo Cave (18 miles) is another great place to walk the pups. Follow the circular route, which takes you inside the magnificent cave, where you can marvel at the thundering waterfall.
