Three converted semi-detached stables, cosy yet stylish properties retaining original features, set in a courtyard attached to the owners’ house. 

This lovely home in a converted stable is perfect for couples and their four-legged friends who want to soak up the Somerset surroundings. The shared, enclosed paddock means you can rest assured that your dogs have somewhere safe to run off all their energy – they may even get up close and personal (but perhaps not too close!) with the resident hens, goats and horse. Burnham-on-Sea is within 3 miles of the property with its long, sandy beach and dogs are welcome on most of the beach all year. Just remember to clean off those sandy paws before they jump up for a cuddle.

This charming single-storey property offers clean, comfortable and contemporary accommodation. It is one of three properties situated around a courtyard behind the owner's house. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a fantastic space, offering all guests, including the furry ones, a space to cook, eat and relax and the French doors provide views of the neighbouring countryside. Thankfully, the wooden floor makes it easier to clean up any muddy pawprints. The restful bedroom and contemporary shower room are all on the same floor. Outside, there is a private patio area with a BBQ, so you can make the most of summer evenings.

A great deal of Somerset is easily accessible from this property as it is situated on the A38. Within 16 miles there are two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Quantock Hills and the Mendip Hills, offering you and your pooches a wealth of picturesque ‘walkies’. For something cheesy, why not head to the stunning Cheddar Gorge which is only 13 miles away… and yes, this is the home of Britain’s favourite cheese. There are also some wonderful historical towns/cities within 18 miles such as Wells, Glastonbury and Taunton.

Lovely cottage with owners who made us feel very welcome. Our cockapoo was very happy and comfortable staying here for the week also! Lots of places to go nearby with a short drive. Weve had a lovely dog, walking, and also relaxing holiday before our firstborn baby arrives in 2 months time !! The pimpernel pub down the road is amazingly dog friendlRead morey also and would recommend going there ! Hide

The cottage was excellent and most dog friendly. All the facilities that we needed.The owners were most friendly and helpful and we had the added bonus of a neighbouring horse, goats and chickens. We loved our time there

We found the owner very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean and comfortable, the beach was lovely for dog walking, but be aware of the mud once the tide is out....The Pimpernel pub was perfect for meals and friendly.Also an ASDA very near for shopping and petrol.

We had another lovely holiday here. Sadie and Rick are the perfect hosts, always a warm welcome and so helpful. The cottage has everything that you need, well equipped and clean. Lovely garden and the paddock attached is perfect for the dogs to play and mix together. Apex park (short drive) is ideal for walking our dog. This cottage is beautiful, totally dog friendly, very secure, and a lovely dog green, just perfect, the owners Sadie and Rick, we're lovely people salt of the earth, along with the chickens, goats and horse, just made it.

Second visit to cottages, really fab place. Sadie and Rick are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Super dog friendly and local pubs are too. Great walk into Burnham through apex park for a walk on the beach with the dog. Fab holiday.

We had a lovely stay here with our three small dogs last week. Theres plenty of great places to walk locally and the beaches at Berrow and Brean are fab. Apex park is also great and the ponds are very scenic, you can park here and walk all the way into Burnham on Sea . The property has a lovely secure garden and is very cosy. Would definitely recomRead moremend a visit to the Quantock Hills too which were about 30 mins from the property. 100% would recommend a stay here! Hide
